How to connect an API
- 01Pick a connector
Choose a listed connector for known APIs. Use Generic REST API for custom endpoints or APIs not yet listed.
- 02Connect credentials
No auth: run public endpoints directly. API key or bearer token: save in API Import and select before running. Google OAuth: connect your account for Search Console or YouTube.
- 03Write a prompt
Use plain English with the key resource, filters, dates, or IDs. E.g. "Get Google Search Console clicks by query for example.com."
- 04Review and run
Review the generated request — URL, method, and headers for REST; endpoint, query, and variables for GraphQL. Results write into the active sheet.
- 05Save and schedule
Save repeat requests as workflows. Schedule hourly, daily, or weekly refreshes to keep data fresh automatically.
